Today, 15th of November, activists from Alternativa Antimilitarista MOC of Bilbao have done a blockade action in ITP (Industria de Turbopropulsores), one of the leading Basque factories, which produces engines and turbines for militar industry, mainly militar planes and helycopters. The activists have blocked the door with chains and have used red paint symbolizing the blood and destruction that the ITP products cause around the world.

Among other militar artifacts, ITP is producing Eurofighter 2000 Typhoon, Tiger HAD helycopter and Militar transport Airbus. It does manteinance work for many armies all over the world, and among other models, ITP keeps operative the militar helycopters Chinook and Superpuma, both of them are being used now in the Afganisthan war.

This action is part of an international action day 'War starts from Europe', which aims to visualise how Europe is involved in wars worldwide. On the 14th and 15th of november, there are actions in Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Finland, Great-Britain, Poland, Spain, Tjechie, and Sweden.
