    In Danish: DANMARK FOR FRED - in English: DENMARK FOR PEACE

     

    is a new peace-movement founded january 2011 who works for:

     

    1) bringing the peace/war question into public debate

    2) changing the future Danish foregin- and military policies in a more peaceful direction

    3) bringing the Danish people to express their peace whishes

        Highlight der antimilitaristischen Inspektionstour war heute ein brennender MAN-Militärlastwagen: Ein großes Papp-Transparent mit dem Bild einesBundeswehrwagens von MAN fing Feuer zum Ende der Tatortbesichtigung bei der Werkstattdes Kriegsprofiteurs MAN in der Stadt Brandenburg. Das Gelände der Werkstatt der „MAN Nutzfahrzeuge Vertrieb GmbH“ wurde zuvor mit rot-weißem Flatterband und Tatort-Schildern abgesperrt.

                  As part of the EPA, War Resisters' International organised a session of trainings in nonviolence, focusing on different parts of a nonviolent movement – from preparing for a single action, over the development of a campaign up to looking at a movement at a whole.

                      The workshop on campaigns against war profiteers was part of the Globalisation of militarism theme, the other workshop in that theme was on military infrastructure.

                      This workshop was coordinated by WRI, bringing together different European campaigns.
